Gardening Services

Sunshine offers on-site consultation in Durham, Person and Orange counties, advising regarding environmental factors, soil and bed preparation, project goals and plant selection, as well as discussing planting techniques and ongoing garden maintenance.

For these services the fee is $50 per labor or consultation hour.

Services include, but are not limited to:

On-site garden consultation
Garden planning/small design
Installation of plants
Bed construction
Routine maintenance such as weeding & fertilizing
Garden cleanup and renovation

Plant Sourcing

Landscape Plant Brokerage:

Plant material sourcing is open to both industry professionals and homeowners. Send us your plant list and we'll let you know what we can find.

Annual Fruit Tree Order:

Requests for our annual fruit tree order should be emailed to us between May 1st and June 1st. This order must be paid in full to confirm.

The trees we order in June will arrive bare root the following February or March.

We order flowering bulbs in the spring for delivery in fall at planting time. The varieties listed below are available to purchase from us in limited quantities this fall (2026). This order can be paid on order or on receipt.
